PROSTATE COMPLEX FOR ULTIMATE PROSTATE HEALTH
This week’s blog is for the guys; however, if you are a significant other, continue reading as it is important to understand prostate health and how to identify red flags.
What is the Prostate?
The prostate is a male organ that contributes additional fluid in semen and has muscles that help push semen through the urethra. The prostate is not an essential organ for survival, but it plays an important role in the male reproductive system.
As men get older, the prostate naturally gets larger, but there is a condition called Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) that causes the prostate to enlarge at a faster rate. When the prostate is enlarged, it blocks the urethra, making it difficult to urinate when there is an urgency.
Prostate Cancer Statistics
Excluding skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Approximately 1 in 8 men will develop cancer at some point in their lifetimes. Prostate cancer is a slow spreading cancer that is very treatable, however, when it does metastasize, it typically first spreads to the bone which is much harder treat.
Prostate cancer can happen at any age but is more likely to occur in men over the age of 50. When men reach the age of 50, it is recommended that a digital rectal exam be performed every two years to check for prostate abnormalities. Another test that should be performed every 2-3 years is a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test. PSA is a blood test that determines the amount of PSA and screens for prostate cancer.
What is Prostate Complex?
Prostate Complex is a natural supplement packed full of essential nutrients responsible for male reproductive health. Prostate Complex is designed to support prostate health and size in men over the age of 40. It cleanses and protects the urinary tract, supports healthy urine flow, supports bladder function, and helps reduce the urge to go, reducing those frequent nighttime trips to the bathroom for better sleep. Prostate Complex also helps with a condition called prostatitis, which is inflammation of the prostate.
Dr. Wilkins wanted to share his success story since using Prostate Complex. About 2 years ago, Dr. Wilkins had an elevated PSA that is considered borderline prostate cancer. The doctor wanted to see him in one year for a re-evaluation. In that one-year time frame, Dr. Wilkins began taking Prostate Complex to help lower his PSA. When he returned a year later, his PSA levels went from borderline to well within normal levels.
