Every medical condition causes inflammation. When something is wrong, the body’s immune system begins to do its job and fights off any foreign bodies and invaders. The nervous system releases chemicals responsible for the healing process that will further heal the body. What most people don’t understand is that the healing process is responsible for inflammation and inflammation increases pain levels.

At our office, we sell a supplement called Formula 419 that helps lower inflammation levels. In this week’s blog, we will briefly explain the healing process, identify who can take Formula 419, and discuss its benefits.

The Healing Process

The healing process occurs when a physical injury is sustained, or an underlying condition is present. The healing process begins immediately and lasts until every last bit is remodeled. The following are the four stages of the healing process.

  1. Hemostasis- this phase of healing occurs immediately following an injury that brings platelet cells to the area to cause clotting.
  1. Inflammatory Phase- once clotting is done, different cells rush to the area and perform a function called phagocytosis. Phagocytosis is a function cells perform that eats debris of an injured site and cleans up the area. This process can take 1-4 days depending on the injury or condition, and may cause redness, swelling, pain, and/or warmth to the area.
  1. Proliferation Phase- once all the debris is removed, several different cells rush to the cleansed area to begin repairs. This phase can last 4-21 days.
  1. Remodeling Phase- once repairs are made, remodeling cells come to the site and finish a job that can take as long as two years to complete. Once a damaged area is complete, the healing process has finished.

Aside from the initial impact or condition, the inflammatory process is said to be the most painful because of the symptoms present. Traditionally, each phase of the healing process has an estimated time frame; however, these phases can last longer depending on the condition. The inflammatory phase can last from a few months to a few years if a condition is not stable.

What is Formula 419?

Formula 419 is a natural supplement that contains calcium, magnesium, a vegetarian enzyme blend, plant fiber, and water. This product contains no allergen products such as aspartame, wheat, soy, dairy products, etc. Together, the ingredients of Formula 419 are used to alleviate inflammatory symptoms.

How Was Formula 419 Introduced to Our Facility?

Formula 419 was introduced to Laurel Mountain Chiropractic Center because Dr. Wilkins suffered from a chronic skin rash on his chest that would not go away. He tried many lotions, creams, and medications to remove the rash, but nothing worked. One day, he read an article from Ness Labs about Formula 419 and how their product helped with inflammatory conditions.

Unsure if it would work, he knew he had nothing to lose. Soon after taking Formula 419, his chronic skin rash was gone. His pain was gone, and the itching stopped. From that point forward, we began selling Formula 419 to individuals who were presented with uncontrollable inflammatory symptoms.

Formula 419 works well for individuals with arthritic conditions, degenerative disc disease, skin conditions, carpal tunnel, extremity joint pain, disc pain, etc. Individuals on our non-surgical spinal decompression program are recommended this product while on the program.

Formula 419 is the only supplement we sell that has contraindications. Most supplements warn pregnant individuals and those who are allergic to shellfish not to take their product. In addition, Formula 419 should not be given to anyone who has digestive ulcers because it may flare the condition. Also, most supplements can be taken with or without food; however, Formula 419 should be taken on an empty stomach (2 hours before or after eating) twice a day.

Over the years, Formula 419 has been a great addition to our office and has helped hundreds of patients relieve inflammatory symptoms.  If you have any questions about Formula 419, please call us at (724) 547-3377 and checkout our website at for more content.
